Note: George enlisted on the 20 July 1915 into the Royal Engineers, service number 59658 Sargeant G W Upton. He was awarded the Victory Medal and British Medal (RE/101B/285280. plus the 15 Star Medal (RE/6B8.3718. George served 3 tours of duty in Egypt. He was transferred to the reserves on the 29 March 1919.

Note: Elizabeth Daisy best known as Daisy . Harry and Daisy had no children. They lived and worked in London. Whilst living in London during WW2 Battle of Britian, Raymond Holmes a Hurricane pilot flew his plane into a German Bomber, and a peice of the tail of his plane landed in Victoria Station near to where Daisy and Harry lived. (R.Holmes died in 2002)They retired to Herne Kent.
