"The Petition of William Maitland respectfully showeth that your petitioner was born in Stirlingshire Scoland, that he arrived in the United States on September 14th 1889, landing in the Port of New York that his full name is William Maitland and that he is 62 years of age, and an alien, his occupation is Farmer that he resides at No 48 Somerset Street, Borough of Garfield Bergen Co., and that he intends to summon as his witness at the final hearing upon his application to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States, Frank E Kane or William O Bush who redide at No 54 Marsellus Place and No 87 Passaic Street Borough of Garfield Bergen Co., in the State of New Jersey respectively."
